You can delete your Yaara account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page is the deletion reference for both the Yaara (customer) app and the Yaara Counsellor app, published by Uma Shankar, an individual (sole proprietor) trading as Yaara.
1. Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the app and go to Profile (bottom tab).
- Tap Delete account.
- Read what will be removed, then confirm.
Deletion is immediate. You are signed out on every device and cannot sign back in. You cannot delete during a live call; end the call first. Counsellors must request a payout of any remaining balance (or forfeit it) before deleting.
2. Delete by email (if you no longer have the app)
Email support@meetyaara.com with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address you used to sign in with Google. If you cannot use that address, tell us and we will verify your identity another way. We confirm deletion within 7 days.
3. What is deleted, and when

4. Third parties
On deletion we remove your push token from Firebase and stop sharing anything further with our processors. Razorpay keeps payment records under its own legal obligations; ZegoCloud holds no personal data about you after a call ends.
5. Deleting some data without closing your account
You can edit or remove your bio, photo, languages and topic tags in Profile → Edit profile. To remove other data while keeping your account (for example, old chats), email support@meetyaara.com; we respond within 30 days.
